Rising fashion label Wood Wood has just revealed it’s Autumn/Winter 2014 lookbook and let’s just say Fall can’t get here any sooner! Inspired by the 1961 war film The Guns of Navarone, the clothing comprises classic
military pieces, such as heavy pea coats updated in Wood Wood’s sports-meets-fashion style. Navy, burgundy and army green are prominent colors throughout the looks with hints of neon’s and other off colors adding a modern flare. Rock climbing ropes used as neck ties
and belts nod to the outdoors while tall printed beanie hats and gloves with varsity striping finish the collection. Founded in 2002 by a trio of shop owners, Danish Wood Wood gained a cult following before collaborating with popular brands including Eastpak in 2012 and 2013, as well as Clarks footwear in March of this year. Wood Wood stays true to its brand of “always balancing between style and function”. With Wood Wood’s delicious blend of contemporary streetwear, we’re certain the brands cult fandom will continue to blossom.
